Bitcoin ETFs lost $64M Monday while ether, XRP, Solana ETFs gained

Spot bitcoin ETFs lost $64 million on Monday, but the outflow was almost entirely from Grayscale's GBTC. Meanwhile, ether, XRP, Solana and Hyperliquid ETFs all took in fresh cash, tracking a rotation into altcoins.

  • Bitcoin ETFs lost $64M net on Monday, but BlackRock's IBIT actually gained $66M; the outflow came from Grayscale's GBTC losing $124M.
  • Ether ETFs gained $22.5M, Hyperliquid funds $17.2M, and XRP and Solana funds about $2.8M each.
  • XRP rose 7%, Solana 6%, and Hyperliquid 11% on Monday, outperforming bitcoin.
  • Bitcoin ETFs still hold about $83B in assets vs. $10B for ether and ~$1B each for XRP, Solana and Hyperliquid products.
